There’s an excellent opportunity to learn more about the wines of Red Mountain here in Washington State over the next month.
Beginning on Tuesday, October 19, wine writer Julia Coney is hosting “The Five Pillars oF Red Mountain” virtual series.
Every Tuesday for five weeks, this series will explore Red Mountain’s soil, slope, precipitation, wind, and temperature. The events start at 5 pm PST.
Each week, winemakers and wine professionals making wine from Red Mountain grapes will present information. You’ll recognize some of them from our local Woodinville wineries – Charlie Hoppes from Fidelitas; Darel Allwine from Col Solare; John Bigelow from JM Cellars; and Allison Engman from Ambassador Wines.
We feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to learn so much about Red Mountain and the Red Mountain AVA!
