It’s not often that Jen is nearby in Woodinville in the mornings. She was due to check out of her comped Willows Lodge room before noon.
I knew I could tempt her with breakfast at Barking Frog! My boyfriend and I have been enjoying breakfast on the patio at Barking Frog nearly every Friday lately. He is trying to watch his weight and gets slightly mad when I order the beignets, but always enjoys eating his share!
Barking Frog serves brunch every day of the week from 8 am to 2:30 pm. Fabulous! I am a night owl, and I love the opportunity to have a very very late breakfast, sometimes post-noon!
You’ve been reading our blog long enough to know us so well, you aren’t at all surprised we ordered mimosas on a workday! Jen opted for an orange juice imosa and I was tempted by grapefruit.
This is my Huevos Rancheros, which I asked them to make vegetarian by omitting the chorizo.
Jen had been SO excited to eat Eggs Benedict, she talked about it several times the night before while we were at the After Hours Wine Walk!
We definitely recommend Barking Frog for brunch – there’s plenty of parking, it isn’t crowded on weekdays, service is fantastic (perhaps a little slower than normal due to pandemic issues, but that’s ok) and the food is delicious. Just the right portion size I leave feeling full but not overstuffed, too!
