I was so excited to visit this tasting room with our friend Shona, from Wine Diva Lifestyle. She had of course visited the Woodinville Mark Ryan tasting room, but she hadn’t seen this updated downtown Walla Walla space before our trip.
I love the mix of classy wine bottles and magnums displayed beneath brightly colored artwork. It’s so eye-catching!
I loved this display of a Long Haul wine gift box and as I was admiring it, I noticed the chalkboard sign in the background that mentions the newest Mark Ryan tasting room space at the Annex! We didn’t have the opportunity to visit the Annex tasting rooms, but I did peek at the space during our lunch at neighboring TMACS. The Annex is a modern, laid-back space with a wine offering that is more affordable and includes all of Mark Ryan’s other labels (Lu & Oly, Megan Anne Cellars, Numbskull, and Board Track Racer).
I really look forward to our next trip to Walla Walla wine country so that I can plan a visit to The Annex for a glass pour while I wait for dinner reservations.
I had no problems booking our reservation online and would highly suggest making a reservation, although walk-ins can be accommodated. If you visit The Annex, no reservations are needed and walk-ins are welcome!
When you plan your visit to Walla Walla, make Mark Ryan Winery a priority. The stylish tasting rooms will impress you. The Walla Walla tasting room is located at 26 E Main Street, Walla Walla, WA.
The Annex is located at 60 Colville Street. Glass pours and tasting are available Thursday – Sunday 12-5 and Friday and Saturday 12-7.
Cheers!
