Woodinville Liquor for a Small Intimate Backyard Bonfire Party

I’m really taking advantage of our unseasonally sunny, warmish weather here in the suburbs of Woodinville. I keep hosting tiny little social distancing parties in my backyard, for mask-wearing friends.

Recently, I set up a cozy outdoor seating area around my bonfire, and filled an etagere with supplies for guests to make their own cocktails using liquor from a local distillery, Copper Cat Distillery. I placed some of my beloved autumn decorations around to make it festive.

The distillery (located at The Junction in Woodinville near Sol Stone Winery) produces a gin, a brandy and a vodka (with plans to expand into whiskey in the future).

Guests were arriving in that snacky time between lunch and dinner, so I put out olives, cheese and crackers, but kept things simple.

I always have a sanitized bathroom with individual hand towels that my guests can use, and I put plenty of hand sanitizer available outdoors since my guests would all be touching the same liquor bottles and handling the same food serving utensils.

(Not shown in these photos: lemons, limes, brandied cherries, ice bucket filled with ice, tonic and soda, cocktail pics and other accoutrements for drinkmaking. I set those out after we took these photos!)

Check out the video I made about this little party, over on YouTube, if you like:

Have you been throwing small social distancing parties in your backyard too while the weather is good? Let me know in the comments area below!

Happy autumn!
