Are you making a frantic dash to the store today to bring something special home from Woodinville for Valentine’s Day – perhaps a bottle of local wine or two?
If you’re looking for a nice Rosé wine from Woodinville wineries, stop by these Hollywood District tasting rooms for their newly released Rosés..
Airfield Estates
Gorman Winery
Guardian Cellars at the Apple Farm Village
J. Bookwalter Winery
Mark Ryan Winery
Patterson Cellars
Lachini Vineyards has a 2018 sparkling Rosé that would be festive. aMaurice might have their Rosé for 2019 available, but I’m not certain.
Stop into Tsillan Cellars in the Gateway district for their late harvest dessert wine or their brand new Champenoise!
If your beloved prefers cider, head to Goose Ridge Winery; and if you want to bring them home some nice beer, run into Good Brewing Co. or Hopheads Taproom, both of which can fill growlers or make a beer can for you custom.
Not in the mood to purchase Rosé? There’s a large selection of wines at Maryhill Winery at the Hollywood Schoolhouse, and Village Wines is both a restaurant and a well-curated wine shop.
If you’re already going to Molbak’s anyway to shop for Valentine’s Day decor, gourmet food and gifts, rest assured they have a nice wine accessories gift area as well as a curated selection of Woodinville wine bottles.
I am impressed with the Woodinville wine selection at the Haggen Northwest Fresh grocery store in downtown Woodinville; and with the Washington wine selections at PCC Natural Markets in Kirkland and Redmond, and at Metropolitan Market in Kirkland and Sammamish.
Happy Valentine’s Day and good luck with your wine shopping!
