If you have relatives visiting from out of town, or just extra time to spend with your local family, you might want to spend some quality time together tasting wine in Woodinville. You might head out to dinner after, or go home for a family meal and gift exchange. You might serve the bottle of Washington wine you just bought at one of our local wineries!
But which wineries and tasting rooms will be open on Christmas Eve?
Please check with the wineries directly before you head out to taste wine, in case our information is incorrect or has changed since we researched and wrote this article. We’ll add on info as it comes in – feel free to leave a note in the comments below if the tasting room you are employed at will be open on Christmas Eve.
Alexandria Nicole Cellars closes at 3 pm on Christmas Eve. If you can get in before then, you’re sure to be well taken care of and have a fabulous wine tasting experience.
Chateau Ste. Michelle will be open until 3 pm.
Maryhill Winery is open on Christmas Eve until 7 pm. This would be my first pick for somewhere to take your relatives wine tasting at this time.
Lachini Vineyards in the Hollywood District is open until 5:30 on Christmas Eve. It’s likely that their neighbor Mark Ryan may be open until 5 pm.
Pepper Bridge/Amavi near the Hollywood Schoolhouse is open from 11 am to 2 pm on Christmas Eve.
Tinte Cellars’ Hollywood District tasting room will be open noon to 4 pm.
The restaurant and wine bar Village Wines will be open until 5 pm on Christmas Eve. Be sure to try their beer battered white cheddar bites! Their neighbor Goose Ridge Winery is open from 11 am to 2 pm.
Gorman Winery is open until 4 pm; and Patterson Cellars at The Station in the Hollywood District might very well be open at least part of the afternoon. I suspect Bookwalter Winery will be open as well.
Columbia Winery and Novelty-Hill Januik are both closed, and DeLille Cellars never got back to us and didn’t answer their phone when we called, so we’d stick with safe bets.
Merry Christmas and enjoy your holiday festivities!
