If you’re out wine tasting in Woodinville on a hot day, did you know you can stop by Vivi Pizzeria for gelato to eat on their shared patio (if there’s seating available – sometimes it gets busy with restaurant and wine tasting patrons). We like to stop by on our way back from Chateau Ste. Michelle’s “Chateau Tuesdays.” The gelato case is next to the hostess stand/cash register.

The gelato is fabulous – it’s housemade by the chef. The selection of six gelato flavors changes daily, but also you’ll want to get there earlier rather than later as it often sells out. This gelato incorporated pears and local Roussanne wine! I loved it.
There’s generally some sort of pistachio flavor available, some sort of vanilla or cream flavored gelato, a fruit-based gelato and some sort of chocolate to choose from. You can mix and match scoops, and the hostess at Vivi Pizzeria’s front desk is always so patient with people deciding which scoops to mix and match!
