Our Fabulous Stay at Cave B Inn & Spa Resort

Carrie and I were thrilled at the chance to finally embark on a wine adventure to Cave B Estate Winery, in Quincy, WA.  This was one of the locations that I had personally heard nothing but raves about for years, and it actually exceeded my expectations.  Here were are taking a much-needed wine break after our detoured drive through Wenatchee.

This jaw-dropping setting is what guests view from their rooms at the Cave B Inn.  Behind the Chenin Blanc is the stunning Columbia River Gorge.

My teenage daughters were our spoiled guinea pigs on this trip (read about their stay in the Cave B Yurts, here) and you can see them in the background with Carrie, taking in the beautiful scenery.

Another view from just outside of the cavern room.  We didn’t have the chance to hike it, but we learned that there is a trail which leads from the Inn grounds, all the way down to the water.  Next time I visit, I will be sure to attempt the hike. (With turpentine on my boots perhaps? No snakes for me, please.)

A comfortable bed faced an electric fireplace with a TV above it for relaxing viewing if you so choose.  There are a desk and a table and chairs on the patio outside.

Carrie looks beautifully relaxed with her morning tea on the terrace. The four of us met in her room for breakfast – room service! – and planned out the remainder of our trip.

Here is a different perspective of the cavern room. It was spacious and cozy!

Here I am walking down the cave-like rock corridor that led to Carrie’s fabulous cavern room.

How relaxing would it be to soak in this tub, with a glass of chilled Cave B Dry Rosé, while looking out over the Columbia River Gorge?

We enjoyed ourselves in the tasting room the first afternoon we arrived and purchased a few bottles to take home with us.  This Sauvignon Blanc was enjoyed before we even checked out. Haha.

A comfortable and spacious living room with a dual sided fireplace welcomed me to the cliffhouse room.  There was so much space!

A bottle of Chenin Blanc set a scenic stage on the balcony with a view of the cliffside pool below.

Another view of the seating area in the living room area of my room. I am picturing myself back in that space for a romantic getaway with James, after massages at the Cave B Spa at Sagecliff!

Here is the Cliffhouse bedroom (the bed was so comfortable!) I was in which also has a door leading to the balcony. This room was absolutely perfect and I so enjoyed my stay.  The only thing I would request would be a microwave, but I always say that, in hope that my idea becomes standard hotel accommodations!

I took a moment before we all met for dinner at Tendrils Restaurant to breathe the fresh air and take in my stunning view!

This is a great view of Carrie’s Cavern room and although it gives you an idea of the interior, you are not able to get a look at the wonderful view outside. It is incredible.

Here’s the beautiful swimming pool – very long, perfect for laps!

I’m not sure how we manage this, but nine times out of ten, when Carrie and I meet up for events or Woodinville wine tastings, we show up wearing the same color dresses! I promise it is not planned.  Here we are, posing in the midst of the stunning vineyard at Cave B Estate Winery. I can’t recommend this gorgeous property enough and will be back as soon as possible for another visit.

You can find Cave B Inn and Spa at 344 Silica Rd NW, Quincy, WA , 98848.   You can contact them for reservations here or at (509) 787-8000.
