My friend John from Wenatchee and I were out exploring Woodinville’s wine tasting rooms yesterday. It occurred to me that it had been a few months since I’d stopped by to visit Annie at Efeste, and I hadn’t picked up a bottle of their Rosé yet either!
Annie poured me a taste of the Rosé to enjoy while she packaged up my bottle and John explored the tasting room.
The 2017 Oldfield Estate Rosé is from the Oldfield vineyard in Yakima Valley. It’s a blend of 75% Mourvèdre and 25% Grenache.
While we were there, Annie gave us a quick tour of the back room.
John had never been inside a wine production facility and was very impressed, spending quit a bit of time gawping at the machinery and the equipment.
