When I found out that Diane Pollard, Estate Manager at DeLille Cellars Chateau Estate was graciously agreeing to give us a tour of the stunning Lill Family Estate, I was giddy! I have been admiring the Chateau for quite some time, and I think the rustic architecture and sprawling grounds make for a dream wedding in Woodinville.
As you can see, we toured the Lill Family Estate with Diane on a chilly, overcast afternoon during a time that no event was set up. Even though it was cold and we were not tasting delicious DeLille D-2 wine, the place is breathtaking and we loved our time there. Can’t you just picture you and your guests enjoying delicious wine and cocktails around this pond?
Pictured here is the gorgeous terrace, which can be tented and used as an adjoining space to the Grand Room. Together, these can hold up to 200 guests.
Each and every corner that you visit on the property, as we were shown so graciously by Diane, is meticulously cultivated, just like DeLille Cellars wines.
I love the warmth that this rustic fireplace adds – I was instantly ready to stay and relax under the sparkling chandeliers. What a lovely touch for an event or wedding.
The Grand Room holds up to 80 people formally seated, but you could also use barrel or highboy tables for a cocktail reception.
The other unique feature is that you can choose your own caterer from a list of preferred professionals who have presented fabulous events at DeLille Chateau.
Diane says “Additionally, our wines are world-class and we encourage you to share them with your guests at a value offered to our event hosts; be sure to request event-pricing when ordering your wines.”
The lawn is tucked away, surrounded by striking cedar trees.
DeLille offers Friday, Saturday or Sunday access – for a nine-hour period. They choose to only host one wedding per day, in order to give you and your guests time to fully enjoy the property and not feel rushed.
The DeLille Chateau is an incredible private estate that offers so many unique options for you and your guests. The ambiance is elegant and inviting, with character at every turn, both inside and outside. For my fiancé James and I, it is a little large… we are planning a small affair when we get married next summer.
