Jen and I always eat some sort of meal or snack before going wine tasting here in Woodinville. Wine tasting on an empty stomach is not a good idea, especially not when we both have to drive home later! Recently we stopped by The Collective on Tap to enjoy some snacks before hitting the Hollywood District tasting rooms.
This place is tucked away at the back of a strip mall, but is easy to find with our GPS. We had no problem finding parking, which is always good news!
I’ll definitely take my boyfriend here soon. He loves beer, and it can be his reward for patiently accompanying me to a wine tasting or two!

I ordered a side green salad, and deliciously unhealthy Gorgonzola dip with kettle chips. Jen is a much healthier eater than me, and requested the Autumn salad.
I was really tempted to also order the warm pretzel, but sadly wasn’t hungry enough yet this early in the day. Next time I’ll try the hummus plate and spinach artichoke spread!
The Collective on Tap offers nearly 50 beers and ciders on tap, plus cocktails and wine (though I’m disappointed not to see any Woodinville tasting room wines on the menu. Perhaps they can’t carry them all and decided to be fair by carrying none?)
We found the atmosphere very welcoming and relaxing, and the service fast and friendly. We especially loved that at 11am on a weekday, it wasn’t crowded at all.
We’d love to suggest The Collective on Tap for pre-wine-tasting snacks or lunch, or post-wine-tasting dinner here in Woodinville!
