Serret and I needed to catch up, so I was delighted she and her Frenchie, Lola, could join me for lunch last week. We were both craving breakfast at The Commons, so met before noon for a weekday brunch.
The Commons has two dog-friendly patios. (To get to the back patio, they prefer you bring your leashed dog through on the outer sidewalk, not through the restaurant).
Lola thought she should certainly be allowed to sample some of her mom’s egg and bacon croissant.
But no, we don’t feed doggies at the table!
I ordered their Huevos Rancheros vegetarian style (no chorizo). Just the perfect amount of food, and so tasty!
I needed some iced tea to get caffeine into my system. I was going wine tasting next, so opted for a non-alcoholic drink.
Serret, however, was delighted to try their Pear Sidecar, and I’m so glad she let me try a sip!
I’m really grateful to have somewhere close by in Woodinville to meet a friend for a lovely breakfast on a nice day, with a dog-friendly patio, friendly server, cocktails and wine and no judgment about the time of day one might be indulging in said delights!
