Let’s face it, I drag my poor beer-loving boyfriend to a lot of wine places here in Woodinville. He is a really good sport about it, and will drink the occasional glass of wine. But really, beer is his passion and his favorite thing to drink. So on Labor Day Weekend after I dragged him out in the heat to the fun, festive but crowded 50th anniversary celebration at Chateau Ste. Michelle, I definitely owed him a beer or two!
We had actually been involved in a minor car accident on the way to the Chateau – it was the other driver’s fault and we weren’t hurt, but we were a little shaken up and had adrenaline rushing. So a chance to sit down, enjoy a beer and hydrate with a glass of water sounded like a good plan.
Check out the various beers on offer currently. I love that they provide info on the alcohol percentage. I wish I’d thought to order a flight – we saw a few people enjoying sampling various beers.
Notice that all pints are just $5!
On such a hot day, the shady patio and nearby fan were a huge relief.
Bob chose the Sicyne IPA and quickly got to work on it.
I really enjoyed my Blackberry Sour, and wished I had time for another one before we had to depart for our next adventure.
We paused to admire the art for sale by local artists. So colorful!
I wanted to show you the board games they stock for families. We saw a family enjoying a couple of the games while we were here! So if you’re looking for a kid-friendly brewery, head down to Dirty Bucket Brewing Co.!
