Last week Carrie and I decided to meet at The Bistro at Hollywood Schoolhouse just prior to a wine tasting at Alexandria Nicole Cellars. The two are neighbors on the the same historic property, which also landmarks Woodinville’s Hollywood District.
Here is the lovely, umbrella shaded patio outside of the restaurant. The doors were wide open and the sun was bright, so we opted to sit inside.
We easily made selections from the menu, and both went with vegetarian fare. Carrie ordered the BLTAE (minus the bacon) and I had the Heirloom Tomato and Roasted Beet salad. I love beets and thought my salad was wonderful. I did my best to not eat them all, but sampled a few truffle fries – delicious!
I had eaten a giant breakfast, so this salad with goat cheese and balsalmic vinegar dressing was the perfect sized meal for me.
Some of the chairs and tables inside the seating area. The wood plank floors and red colored walls give the bistro a schoolhouse feel.
Here is a close up of the BLTAE, kindly made minus the bacon (to suit a vegetarian diet.) The egg looks so good!
We enjoyed our lunch at The Bistro at Hollywood Schoolhouse, especially with the side doors opened up to allow the breeze inside. This could be the perfect option for you to stop and grab a bite before wine tasting.
The Bistro at HSH is located behind the Hollywood Schoolhouse at: 14810 NE 145th St. Woodinville, WA 98072.
Enjoy your stop here and be sure to comment below to let us know what you think of your meal!
